Billy's hands rose instinctively to cast a spell, and he cursed under his breath, pulling the Doom-bot's cloak down over his eye instead and ducking past him. It didn't give him much time, but it was enough to get a head start. And really, he didn't need to get far, he just had to hook back up with Bucky. And get the hell out of the castle, but one step at a time.

He ran out and nearly toppled right over a banister, hearing a commotion below that he hoped was Bucky, because his Doom-bot was right behind him, and Billy didn't have much time to think before throwing himself over the banister.

"Little help?!?" he called as he fell, praying the super soldier's hands weren't too full to stop him hitting the ground. God, he wished he could fly right now.

The whole operation had gone to hell and the part that Bucky really hated was that it probably started going south before they even left the States. Nothing was ever easy or straightforward where Doom was involved. Case in point: the Winter Soldier needing to stage a rescue mission because he couldn't trust waiting for authorization or reinforcements. There was no doubt of it being a rescue mission either.

Honestly he was just glad that he refused to go anywhere without at least a small personal arsenal.

Catching Billy's dive out of the corner of his eye he had to scramble when the dive turned into a fall instead of the expected flight. No time for questions though, just punching his way through three Doom-bots and lunging in an attempt to break Billy's fall. The impact would probably hurt but better that than Billy hitting the floor.
