Did you know that 2014 officially marked the first year in the US where people had more assets stolen by cops by illegal or barely legal laws than assets were stolen by ACTUAL BURGLARS!? That when people get pulled over on the freeways for speeding, other cops come and park behind the first cop just to harass people?

Good people that try to be cops get driven out in the academy, or shamed. There's plenty of records of cops killed in 'training accidents' after they've reported their fellows for abuse of power. So maybe there's a small number of them that are good, but that's like saying 'well the Thunderbolts are trying to be good people, so ALL people that have ever been super villains are good'.

It's not one bad apple and all that shit. It's one or two good eggs in a whole damn store.

And if you don't want to hear that, then I don't even know what to say. Maybe congrats on being comfortable. Because maybe there's good people out there, but you won't see them among that sort of crew.

Yeah, it's gone. It went sideways when I was only about seven, and during the school day. I got sent to the ER before the Shepherds could complain, and once there the docs weren't going to take 'no we don't want to spend the money' as an answer.
